Westone 4 ?

Westone 4 In Ear Headphones?

On December 10th, 2010, Lynn Kehler, Westone’s CEO, post a pic on on his personal Twitter account showing an iPad and what might look like the Westone 4.

His comments: “I’m testing out a new iPad…man, the sound quality is great!

The picture looks blurry and we don’t know if he let this cat out of the hat by accident or if the camera color is completely off and rendered the red an orange, but I’m almost sure I can read a “4″ on those earpieces.

iPad is in the HOUSE!

iPad is in the house. First 3 hours: BEST web browser ever! eBook reader? Kindle is NO match. Everyone seems to already know what is not to love: lack of built-in camera, not being able to run more than one app at the same time. Aside from that all I can say is that I have been waiting for a device like the iPad since I started using computers. For those complaining about “only” 10 hours of battery, I can’t find how anyone would be away from an outlet for more than 10 hours. While you sleep the iPad charges. If you are off to climb the Himalaya I don’t think you would get signal or want to use such device. Save it for when you’re back in the city :) At any rate I think the iPad is a revolution in computer interface. It redefines how you interact with a computer in much deeper ways. Disclaimer: I’m buying some Apple stocks ;)

Beyerdynamic started to ship new Tesla T1 headphones

Beyerdynamic started to ship new Tesla T1 headphones. Unfortunately only partial shipments were sent. The first impressions of some of our lucky customers that got them this week, point out that they have better bass than the Sennheiser HD800 and they are great for Rock and Classical music. This surely is looking like a big hit by Beyerdynamic. iSlate rumored specs to include 3.5mm Earphone Input

Apple’s iSlate rumored specs to include a 3.5mm mini stereo jack for earphones and headphones. We were happy to find out that the next big thing to be launched by Apple will offer a 3.5mm mini stereo input which will allow all the high-end earphones we promote to be used with the new upcoming iSlate. Of course these are rumored specs however the original document seemed to be an official Apple document which was showing on Google search a couple of weeks ago and then mysteriously disappeared.

At any rate, the good news, if confirmed, is that the awesome earphones made by Westone, Monster, Shure, Audeo, Sennheiser and others will be fully compatible with the iSlate.

We will be getting the iSlate to run performance audio tests as soon as as it is available. We believe the new device will be a game changer allowing users to flip through pages much like you do a magazine, read books, plus watch movies, browse the net, listen to your music library using an even better touch interface than the iPhone. That will put Amazon’s Kindle in the Stone Age.
